About Me:

My relationship with French didn’t begin in a classroom — it began in France itself. Growing up, I was lucky enough to spend every school holiday there, in a small village where very little English was spoken. What I found there, beyond the language, was that people were kind, patient and genuinely willing to communicate — and that experience taught me more about the joy of language than any textbook ever could.

I studied French to degree level at St Andrews University and Birkbeck, London. But my love of the language came long before any qualification.

One experience that stays with me is taking a homeschooled student from absolute beginner all the way through to GCSE level. That, for me, is what this is all about.

I work online, which means flexible lessons wherever you are — no commute, no disruption, just French.

Language has always brought out a joy in me when it comes to connecting with others — and that feeling is at the heart of everything I do as a tutor.
